Our thoughts and prayers are with you guys as you walk this stretch of life's journey. "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints." Ps: 116:15 I hope you are able to take time to celebrate her life, talk about your memories and remember that this, too, is a beginning, not just an end.
I wish I could have been there yesterday because I feel like I know you all personally, even though we only corresponded at a distance and met briefly at Mr. Hillman's Congressional Gold Medal Ceremony. Know that our thoughts are with you at this time.
Blessings,
Greg Fletcher

I knew too briefly this beautiful woman. I admired her for how well she loved her family and the fruit of which is my special friend, Melinda, her daughter. She was so gracious in her respect for others in word & deed. I saw first hand her artistic skills & ability of needlecrafts in sweaters she made for her family. Would loved to have gardened with her...we may yet in heaven.
Praying for God's love & comfort to all who knew her well. I know she will be missed.

Songs work best. God bless you all, see you soon.
Still my soul be still
And do not fear
Though winds of change may rage tomorrow
God is at your side
No longer dread
The fires of unexpected sorrow
God You are my God
And I will trust in You and not be shaken
Lord of peace renew
A steadfast spirit within me
To rest in You alone
Still my soul be still
Do not be moved
By lesser lights and fleeting shadows
Hold onto His ways
With shield of faith
Against temptations flaming arrows
Still my soul be still
Do not forsake
The Truth you learned in the beginning
Wait upon the Lord
And hope will rise As stars appear when day is dimming

Gary, Melinda ,Wes, and family. You are in our prayers. Even though we know this time is coming it still grieves our hearts and rightly so it should. Edith was loved by us all. It was always a joy to see her and we looked forward to seeing her and conversing with her. Her bright smile and warmness was quite encouraging. She will be missed by many but the hope we have in Christ that one day we will see her again gives us comfort to go through this time. Praise the Lord for her life!
