There are no words to describe this wonderful loving Christian woman. She had a Christian belief that not only did she share with others but lived it in her daily life as well . She was my mother in law for a period of my life and if I could point to any one that set an example of how a Christian should try to lead their life , it would be Hilda. I know that now she is in Heaven with her saviour and made whole again and is smiling down on all of us and would tell us, don't grieve for me long because now I know the glory and grace of our heavenly father. All who knew Hilda can say that their lives are made richer for having known her. And Hilda, if you can hear me you know that you are in my heart and prayers, your son by marriage, Truitt Tilford

Dick and I would like to add our condolences to you, Linda and Morris. It was an honor for me to assist in the care of your mother and I am so sorry she went so quickly. I did not know her until she was ill and I would have liked to talk to her more about her quilting. Take care, be safe and know that you are thought of in our prayers.

It is with mixed emotion that I write this. I'm sad because she is gone, sad because I know how much her family will miss her, but happy because I know without a doubt that she is in Heaven with her Heavenly Father, and that she is now being reunited with family members and friends who predeceased her. Please know that I loved her too. Even though I may not have lived close by, or saw her that often, she was always Momma Gill to me. And I knew she loved me too! Also know that my thoughts and prayers are right there with each of you as you grieve the passing of the one who you all loved so much. The Lord will comfort each of you, and your precious memories of her will live on with you.
With much love, Corrine
