My thoughts and prayers are with the Meador Family as we recognize June's passing. June and Sherwood took me in as part of their family during my high school years and never let me go. Their boundless love and support never diminished over the last three decades. June's warmth, love and genuine positive demeanor was infectious to all those around her. Her country charm made the Meador home a destination throughout the year for those of us who left the Roanoke valley. She will be missed but never forgotten. God Bless June and may she rest in peace.
