Robert Lee Holdren, 73 of Roanoke and formerly of Rich Creek passed away on Friday, August 19, 2011. He was preceded by his father, David Holdren and mother Icie G. Holdren. He was also preceded by step sons, Clarence "Ike" King and JB King, granddaughter, Emily Page Beamer.
Surviving are his daughter, Malinda Beamer and husband John of Hillsville; brother, Fred Holdren and wife Della of Roanoke; sister, Jane Smith and husband, Johnny of Pembrook and grandchildren, Cody Beamer, Taylor King, Heather King, Parker King and Jessica King.
A graveside service celebrating his life will be held 12:00pm Monday, August 22, 2011 in Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Rich Creek, Virginia. Arrangements handled by Simpson Funeral Home and Crematory, 540 366 0707.
