Barbara Dupuis McNally, 81, of Salem passed away Thursday, May 5, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, son Kevin, grandsons, Nicholas and Matthew McNally, great grandson, Dylan Fischer, and brother Edward Dupuis. Barbara was a faithful member of Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church. She retired from Roanoke City Public Schools. After her retirement she enjoyed traveling with her best friend, Pat Heaton. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother she loved to celebrate special occasions at home with her family. Though she is now at peace, she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Surviving are a son, Jon P. McNally and wife Cindy of Salem; grandchildren, Stephanie Fischer and fiance William Krause, Taylor Grace Fischer, and Graham W. Fischer. Numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Buildin Fund C/O Christian Life International Church 1 Cli Way Salem, Virginia 24153. Funeral mass will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2011 at Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church by Monsignor Joseph Lehman. Interment will follow in St. Andrew's Diocesan Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Simpson Funeral Home. 366-0707
