Marilyn Ann Watson Desorcy of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, May 3, 2011. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marion Watson and a son Timothy Desorcy. She was a retired customer service representative with Cox Communications and a member of Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church. Surviving are her husband of 34 years, Ron Desorcy; children, R.J. Desorcy, and Brooks Foley, Denise Duncan and husband Scott, Scott Desorcy, Kim Anderson and husband Flint, Eric Desorcy and wife Amy; grandchildren, Scott, Jr. and Spencer Duncan, Madison, Owen, and Eric, Jr. Desorcy; and Sean LaVallee; one great grandchild. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to the Susan Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Simpson Funeral Home. 366-0707
