Elise was my sister-in-law; however, she was more like a sister to me. I will never forget the love, kindness, and concern that she has always shared with me and my family throughout the years. We have lived miles apart for years but we always stayed in touch on a regular basis. Elsie always made me feel like family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. I pray that God will comfort your hearts during this difficult time. With all my love and prayers, Aunt Laura Toms

Nothing can compare to a Mother's unconditional love. I will always remember my Aunt Elsie from my childhood to adulthood. As a youngster we often walked from Grandma's house to Aunt Willie's, always stopping to chit chat with Aunt Elsie and play with my cousins. She was such a sweet, quiet and gentle woman who loved her family dearly, especially her children and grandchildren. When God calls our loved one home, we are truly blessed to have wonderful memories of times spent with them, fond memories to forever fill our hearts and minds. Cling to these memories as your healing begin. Much love for you, Shirley Toms

Ms. Elsie, you filled my life with wonder, and gave me a wife like no other. You touched my life with surprise that I could see deep within your eyes. And through the good times and the bad you would give my family anything you had. The pride you instilled in me was true and I hold onto the love and life we knew. I really miss you Ms. Elsie and I always will. Love, Ronn Broadway

The death of my Dear Mother has left a void in my life that cannot be filled. Our roles in life were that of mother and daughter but, to her I was "Sis" and to me, she was "Mama". I was blessed to have her in my life for as long as I did. I loved her deeply and will miss her very much. Geraldine Broadway
