Nearly 76 yearws ago, I was born at 1001 6th ST SE next door to Rachel and the rest of the family. I lived there until I was about three years old. Unlike so many older children, Rachel was never rude nor condescending to me. One of my fondest memories was Rachel and my sister Alzada singing "A Tisket a Tasket." That was around 1938 when both girls would have been 10 or 11 years old. Be assured by Jesus' words in John 11, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die."
