Betty and Family, I am so sorry to hear of Howard's passing, he was a very special and unique person, always willing to help others in the time of need, he had proven that time and time again, and he was always so much appreciated. He was a fine "TRAMP" and I know he will be missed by his brothers and by ALL who enjoyed his wonderful sense of humor. I know speaking as a friend, I will miss him. I feel honored to have known Howard. God Bless you and your family during this time of bereavement.

Wanted to express my condolences at the passing of your father. I remember and have often remembered the bridge on I81 that we got to work with your Dad one summer. It was hard work that I remember fondly especially on the few trips that I traveled across it headed north for something. Glad to know he knows the Lord and is having an awesome time in heaven. Blessings and Peace

My dear sweet Uncle Pugh, you are surely going to be missed. When you walked into a room it would lite up with your laughter and personality. I remember when we would go spend the summer with Howard and Wayne up in the mountains or at Grandma's house for the Holiday's. I will always remember your smile and of course your advice on life. You were such a wonderful person and I will always have you in my heart. I Love you. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends. Jean Moody Hodnett

H.P. was a warm and wonderful man, always good for a laugh, one never had any trouble understanding exactly what he had on his mind......just ask a N&W train crew who had blocked the railroad crossing in front of his driveway for an hour or two with out moving the train.... :) LOL.... Rest in peace old friend....
