Michael Gary Farmer, 46, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, January 28, 2012. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Gary Farmer; and grandparents, Clarence Thomas Farmer, Sr., Mary Edith Chinault Farmer, Roy Edward Chrisley and Doris Cowan Chrisley. Michael was a 1984 graduate of Pulaski County High School He was a former employee of Rainbow Bread and at the time of his death he was a driver for Valley Metro. Surviving are his mother, Barbara Chrisley Moock of Sieverville, Tenn.; sister, Kelly Farmer Peve of Kure Beach, N.C.; special longtime friend, John William Abercrombie of Roanoke; nephews, Trenton Chance Booth, Robert Michael Farmer, and Ethan Carter Booth; and his beloved cats, Chrichton, Dargo, Dutchess and Tux. Funeral services will be conducted on 3:00pm Wednesday February 1, 2012 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by the Rev. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Simpson Funeral Home. 366-0707
