Obituary of Helen Ramsey Hendryx

Helen Ramsey Hendryx, 80, widow of Fred Hendryx, passed away on February 20, 2024. Helen was a resident of both Roanoke, VA and Cincinnati, Ohio.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, William and Peggy Greer Ramsey; her siblings, David Ramsey, Peggy Ramsey, and Patricia Cumbie.

Helen attended William Fleming High School, graduating in the Class of 1961. There she made and has maintained many lifelong friendships.

Helen is survived by her nephew, Michael Arnold and his wife Debbie; her nieces, Robin Harrison and Tammy Woodford; as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

She also leaves behind special friends, Johnny and Sharon Vess, Kameron Mitchell, Ryan Morelli, and her spoiled cat Dixie.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family has requested that donations in Helen’s honor be made to the local ASPCA.
