Obituary of Sally Anne Goff

Sally Anne Eatough Goff, born on June 17, 1936 in Wilmington, DE, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Priscilla Eatough.

Sally is survived by her husband of 55 years, Nathan W. Goff; brother, Richard Eatough; nephew, Scott Eatough (Nancy); niece, Diane Eatough.

Sally Anne earned her college degree at the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio. She worked as an Organist, Piano Teacher, Assistant Music Director, and Minister of Music within various churches where she resided including Florida, New Jersey and Roanoke, VA. She served as an accompanist for the Roanoke Valley Choral Society and substituted for organists in thirty-two Roanoke area churches after retiring from her regular organist position.

Sally was an active member in P.E.O. for over 60 years and she was a member of Second Presbyterian Church.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Second Presbyterian Church. The family will speak to guests following the service.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 4, 2023 in Evergreen Burial Park.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations be made to Second Presbyterian c/o Music Ministry, 214 Mountain Avenue, Roanoke, VA 24016 or to the Roanoke Recue Mission, 402 4th Street SE, Roanoke, VA 24013
