To our sweet Ellen, I felt you were a very special person from the time I first met you. We did not get to spend a lot of time together but, the time we had will always be a treasure to me. After our first few visits to CommUNITY Church, you & PD came to visit us at our apartment that was when we knew that God had brought you both into our lives for a reason. Throughout the following years every time we got together, it was really nice. Whenever I think of you, the thoughts of you bring a smile to my heart.
It was really wonderful to have gotten to know you and your fun-loving heart. You will be terribly missed; however, knowing that we will rejoice in a reunion in our Heavenly home makes it tolerable. Here's a great big "Thank You" for being you and for all the "LOVE" you showed & shared with ALL who knew you. Love & Hugs, Libby & Bobby Meredith

I first met Ellen about 7 years ago. There was never a time when Ellen wasn’t smiling. She was always so kind to me and my family. When I think about Ellen words like Meek, humble, genuine, caring, kind, strong come to mind. She was all of those and more! She was the definition of a Proverbs 31 woman, the kind of woman I aspire to be! Ellen is so loved and will be so missed but not for too long because we will see her again when we gather at the river in Glory praising Jesus right along side of her for all eternity…this life here on earth is temporary….and then there’s forever! Love you Ellen…till I see you again my dear friend sister in Christ <3

Oh, our sweet, precious friend.......where to begin? So many good times and memories for which we are thankful. From our Friday night dinner groups, many long talks over lunches and dinners, our times in Tennessee - how very thankful and blessed we are to have known you and have such an abundance of fantastic memories!
I remember you being one of the first people to welcome us when we came to CommUNITY Church for the first time. You had a smile then, and you kept it right up until the end. You were one of the strongest, feisty, fearless women I've ever known and we are blessed to have had you in our lives and call you a true friend. You will be sorely missed here on earth, but I am so thankful you are no longer in pain and that you are healed, and that this absence is temporary. It's wonderful to have the knowledge that we will see you again.
Cole loved you so much too and you were such a special lady to him - well, you were to all who met you. To know you was to love you!
Dan, Kayla, and John - As difficult as this is for us, we realize it is so much moreso for you. Know that you are loved and that our phones, home, and hearts are open and available to you no matter the day or hour. We are here for you as you maneuver the coming days and your feelings of grief and loss. You are loved more than we can express.

Ellen - there are no words to describe the incredible woman she was, inside and out. She was beautiful, kind, loving and thoughtful. Ellen was one of the best friends I have ever had, and I am grateful for the time I had with her.
If anyone heard, "Well done, good and faithful servant," it would be Ellen. She exemplified what an amazing Christian woman looks like. She truly was a gift to anyone who crossed her path.
I love you, Ellen, and always will. One day you will welcome me to heaven, and I look forward to seeing you again.

I was honored to have known Ellen and the witness she was in this life for her Lord, her family, friends and just everyone.
She was a shinning light for her Lord in everything she did and said. She will be so missed.
It will never be the same to look out from choir and not see her there.

To Ellen: thank you for being the model for a godly woman who cares for those around her. One of my favorite memories is a picture of you with your family and friends on a Disney ride. Everyone around you were screaming and panicking while you were just looking at the camera smiling like plummeting a few stories was just a normal part of your day. It shows how unbelievably steady you were in this crazy world. We will miss you and we know you're already rejoicing with your dear family.
To Dan and Kayla: we love you and are keeping you in our prayers. I know this is devastating, but the hope we have in Jesus is stronger than any pain we may endure.

My fondest memory of Ellen was working with her at West Salem Baptist Church. She, Dan and Kayla were all very special and I will miss Ellen’s special smile and loving attitude towards everyone. I will keep Dan, Kayla and your family in my thoughts and prayers. May God hold you closely and may you know that Ellen is with our Lord and no longer suffering.

My first memory of Ellen was at West Salem Baptist Church when she and Dan were holding little Kayla in one of her beautiful, lacy dresses. Dan and Ellen came to our Sunday school class with big smiles to introduce us to little Kayla. That began a friendship that we hold dear. We love this wonderful, godly family. Ellen will be missed. Love, Sonny and Cathy
