Sending prayers to friends and family. Dan And I went Cave Spring together and have know each other for quite sometime we also worked together at advance for many years. We always ran into each other here and there after life at advance, he is a great guy and will truly be missed. RIP my good friend and see you on the other side.

My sincere condolences to you all. Dan was such a sweet man and will truly be missed. I worked with Dan at Advance Auto Parts for many years. He was the store manager in Salem and I work in the operations office. We lost contact after him and I both left Advance, but caught back up again about a year ago at First Fridays. I am so very thankful that we did get to catch back up. I always thought so highly of Dan. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Ronda Smith

Downtown Dan! One of our favorite pictures for the sole reason, it always makes us laugh! Your presence lit up a room. You were one of those people who made others feel so loved and special. Joe & I always knew if you were going to be somewhere, we'd be greeted with open arms and a heartfelt hug. Your smile and laughter were genuine and contagious. You will be missed my friend. Words can not do justice to the sorrow that your family and friends feel from your absence. We may never understand why you felt you needed to go but we promise you, your loving heart, your good deeds, your care, and concern for others will be your legacy. David and I are heartbroken for you Jen and pray that the love you two shared will help guide you through your pain! He was the best character on the planet. No one could make you laugh more than Dan! We will never forget him dressing up as Marilyn for Taylor’s birthday and singing to her! So funny! Taylor said it was embarrassing but still the best thing ever! Wish we could be there for his celebration but we will be out of town!

Dan the man! You will be very much missed by many and Sandor (Doc) and I will always remember your laugh and your ability to relate to both me and many others. You put others needs before yourself and helped to the weak. Your heart was huge and had a love for your wife and your family that no one will forget!
