Someone brought me a jar of apple butter last weekend. I wasn't aware that Sis. Chappelle was in her last days here, beginning her first days in Heaven. I tasted it. My only comment was, " they needed Sis. Chappell for this batch. It was good but, just not right. We always knew to wait on her taste test to call it good and done." I love you all Sis. Connie and the entire family. I'll remember this service and her life always. It was the day before my birthday. I felt a strong desire to pray for you all and I did. I didn't know why at the time. I only recited the lyrics to "It is Well With My Soul. Thank you Sis. Chappell. Thank God for you!!

Those left behind will surely miss Sis. Chappell, BUT She has reached Her destination She has worked for, for many years. In Psalm 116:15 the word of God reads Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. We had the privilege of meeting her many years ago when She came to help in the kitchen for our church camp. What a Blessing!! Super sweet lady that Loved the Lord. Family and close friends, lean on the Lord for strength during this difficult time. You are in our thoughts and Prayers.

I met this fine lady through my brother and S-I-L, Linda and Jerry Rhodes. She was what many people wish they could be; Nice, Friendly, and showed her love for her family and friends. Rest in Peace, dear one, you left many memories and will never be forgotten.

Kathryn was the sweetest , a very Godly woman. Full of love and compassion. She welcomed me in her home on a few occasions with Patty and Harry. We did not leave hungry, I loved her fried lettuce recipe. Kathryn and her entire family are some of the sweetest souls God has placed on this earth to have a loving fellowship with. Prayer's for comfort and peace during this time.

Sis. Chappell was so special to me. She was a mentor and surrogate Grandma. We had many talks of the Lord and His church. I have precious memories. I love you, Nanny, and will miss you greatly. Til we meet again in glory!
