It was with deep sadness that we learned of the passing of Joan. Her Loving nature and unwavering faith were evident to all who knew her, as was her Selfless spirit and Courageous heart. She had a Passionate outlook on life, bringing joy to those around her with her infectious sense of humor. I first met Joan many years ago, but she remained a constant presence in my life. She left an indelible mark on us all, especially her granddaughter Alisa Akers-Sale, whom she adored. We are forever Grateful for the impact on our lives of Grandma Joan, whose memory will live on through each person she touched during her time with us. Skylar her Great Granddaughter has confirmed she is no longer sick but a singing angel in Heaven. Rest in peace, dear Joan – Heaven has gained another singing angel.
