Bill and family were my direct neighbors growing up, both being railroad households. I remember Bill arriving home during the summers mid-day to have lunch, parking his white railroad utility truck out front next to the curb. At the time, Bill had a special cat who he would share his sandwich with, and I remember that cat standing in the kitchen chair with paws on the table having lunch next to Bill. I remember he enjoyed Myrtle Beach campgrounds, drove a red Dodge truck, and enjoyed a meal or two at K&W.
Often, we’re reminded how fast the universe tracks forward, usually by watching children grow and age, life snapshots captured in photos, and as family are Promoted into the next life ahead of us. I appreciate those family members who have shared Bill's recent adventures, smiles, and now memories.
Always be proud of the moments together, no matter how small, challenging, or grand. We are all energy within this wonderful universe and now without restriction, may Bill be reunited with awaiting family and friends. Until we meet as neighbors once again.
