We luved Wayne Niday...after Shirley passed he stopped by at least once week to see Ron and I...we did everything possible help him thru his grief...this last for years. Wayne was probably one of the sweetest kind hearted man we've ever known. He never betrayed or judged anyone. He was always there for Shirley's children and raised them like his own....even to this day they were his family. He worked hard his entire life and would do whatever he could possibly do to help others. He will be sadly missed by all. RIP WAYNE.

He will be missed in the neighborhood of Berkley Commons. He was our Neighborhood watch person! John & other neighbors enjoyed his HISTORY lessons of Fincastle along with Botetourt County's growth. John & the neighbors would have periodic gatherings exploring the surrounding area restaurants. Wayne loved to talk about BIG Lick - the old and new of our areas. Our grandkids made and took cookies to him many times over the years. I want to THANK Pam who for the last few years took care of him and he helped her with her mother's passing. They were GREAT friends and she will miss him but thankful, he is in a painless place and watching over ALL of us in GOD hands. Peggy & John DuBose 112 Berkley Court Troutville, VA 24175

Sorry for your loss. I worked with Wayne for a number of years at the Cement plant. Wayne was one of strongest workers and hardest workers at the plant. He was also very kind hearted. Wayne Ayers
