Obituary of Darlene Dawn Weber

Darlene Dawn Weber, 48, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord Monday, January 18, 2021. Darlene is survived by her husband, Edward Weber; sons: Edward Josiah, Boaz Warakon and Micah Jasper Weber; parents: Wilson and Leonor Taquiso.

Darlene was a faithful member of Shenandoah Baptist Church and served as a missionary on their behalf in the country of Thailand for 18 years. She was instrumental in founding The Village of Hope Home in Kabinburi, Thailand for at risk girls. Most of all she was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ who finished well.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to The Village of Hope Home in care of Shenandoah Baptist Church 6520 Williamson Road Roanoke, Virginia 24019.

A private graveside service will be held Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. for the family. The services will be live-streamed on The Simpson Funeral Home’s Facebook page for those wanting to view the service. A public celebration will be held at a later date at Shenandoah Baptist Church.
