Lee was a dear friend of mine in high school. I can still hear his laugh and that big grin that would come across his face. After high school, we lost touch. With FB, we were able to reconnect and made plans to meet for lunch or get together that just never happened. I private messaged him about a week ago. I had no idea that the cancer had returned. In the message, I did tell him how much his friendship meant to me.
To his family and close friends, may God comfort all of you. I do know Lee's faith was strong and I know that he's in good hands now. Peace be with all of you.

Lee and I went to school together never knowing during that time that we were related. He was such a great friend and person and I know he fought this battle with all of his might. He is now no doubt, in Heaven rejoicing in his ultimate victory. Prayers for his family and Marxer...he loved that dog.

Lee and I have been friends for 33 years, he introduced me to my husband, David Lambert! We have so many great memories together, one of them being football! He loved his cowboys! I loved going to his dads pool, Sunvalley!! I will miss that sweet laugh and he had the best hair!!!

Bobby, Janet and Family,
Frank and I are better for having known Lee. He was an outstanding man and friend. His big smile remained even when he was going through so much pain. I will never forget how he talked to us when we were attending membership classes and we could see the happiness and sparkle in his eyes when he told us how he let Jesus into his heart. He is walking with our savior now and his smile will certainly brighten the streets of Heaven. Our prayers and thoughts are with you during this very difficult time.
We love you,
Sondra and Frank Stamper

Janet I am praying that God will ease your pain from losing Lee; he is not suffering now and in God's care. One day we all will meet again where there will be no suffering. I love you and hope soon I can feel safe enough to come back to Lakeside to be with my church family.
