Aunt Laverne was my favorite aunt when I was little. She used her artistic talent for many things, one of which was making clothes for my paper dolls. She made the paper clothes with tabs that you bent over the shoulders to hold the garment on. She also made the best chocolate cake ever! I’m so glad that there’s a lot of Aunt Laverne in me. I too love children but never had any, just taught them in Sunday School. Aunt Laverne, I’m sorry I can’t make it to your going home service, but I know you are already in heaven with our Lord and Savior.
