God cares for the brokenhearted; Psalm 34:18 assures that he is close to them. Psalm 147:3 says: "He heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds." God strengthens us by giving us "the power beyond what is normal" to make it through each passing day. Isaiah 12:2 assures us that God is our "strength" and our "might." Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 36:7; 1 Peter 5:7)

To the Gibson Family,
Losing your loved one in death is a pain we can never get accustomed to. But Jehovah, "the God of all comfort" lovingly eases that pain by promising to get rid of death. At Isaiah 25:8 he said that "He will swallow up death forever, and the sovereign lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces". Such beautiful and comforting words from our Father Jehovah can help us through the most difficult time of our lives.

I am grieving with all the rest if our family. Aunt Laura was a huge part of my life growing up. Summers were wonderful when all of us would be at grandma's in Big Stone Gap. Aunt Laura was a second mom to me.May Heaven receive her with open arms and I know she is with Uncle Herb and my mom and dad. Missing her with all my heart! Love, Teri

We met Laura when Ronnie's mom was at the JCT center. She and Laura ate at the same table. We often talked about the books we were reading and things that we remembered from our childhood when we would sit with Laura, Geraldine, and Mom. An interesting note is that we had to move mom to Friendship Manor in nursing care to be closer to us. She passed away exactly one week before Laura. We came to love Laura and actually went back to visit her once after mom left JCT. You have our sympathy and prayers on the loss of this very special lady. Ronnie and Wanda Miller

I'm so sorry to hear of Laura's passing. I'm thankful that we had the pleasure of sharing in her life these last couple of years. She, as well as all of you, became family to us here at JCT. Many prayers for peace and comforting during this time.

Hello, when I see someone who went to sleep in death, I try to encourage the family from the bible. When we loose someone we love in death, we feel the sting of death. In 2 Corinthians 15:26, we see that death is an enemy and will be done away with. The scriptures gives us hope in John 5:28,29 that those we lost in death, we have a chance to see them again. Our God, Jehovah,(Psalms 83:18) gives us comfort as well.(2 Corinthians 1:3,4.) Doctors spend millions and countless hours on finding cures, Jesus simply said “you are cured “. We need God’s kingdom. He will never give you more than you can bear. Words do bring comfort but the bible heals our hearts. Again I'm sorry for your loss
