We can look forward to the day when there will be no more sickness and death. Revelation 21:4 says:..."He [God] will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." God cares for the brokenhearted; Psalm 147:3 says: "He heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds." Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 36:7; 1 Peter 5:7)

Keith, I was so very sorry to learn about the passing of your father. He was such a wonderful Christian man, and I have many fond memories of him and of your mother, as well. May God bring you and your family peace and comfort. Thoughts and prayers for all of you during this difficult time.

We have been very blessed to have known Wess. He was a true man of God, loved people, and was a wonderful husband who gave so much of himself. Wess loved to talk about his Lord, loved sharing his relationship with Him. Wess was a very generous man to all who knew him. If there was one specific thing I admired so much about Wess, it was his dedication to early morning prayer time. He once told me he loved to be in prayer as the sun would rise on the beach. One of the kindest person Robert and I have ever met. He always had a smile, always a kind word, always striving to be a better person, husband, father, Christian. His life is a testimony to who he truly was. He will be missed but those who know and love him are celebrating a life well lived, a race well run, and a glorious homecoming with the Lord. Well done Wess. Cheryl, you and Wess's family are in our prayers for peace and comfort.

It's hard to put into words how much Wessley meant to me. When he pastored
Eagle Rock Baptist Church for 11 1/2 years, both he and Jeannette came to mean
so much to so many of us. Not only was he my Pastor, but I considered he and
Jeannette truly dear, dear friends throughout the time that he was in Eagle Rock
and also we remained friends after he left Eagle Rock Baptist. I can honestly say
that he was one of a kind and the best Pastor I have even had. He dearly loved
the Lord and it showed in everything he and Jeannette did. He was always there
if you needed him, day or any hour of the night. His devotion to his calling went
beyond what he needed to do serving as our Pastor all those years. I have never
heard anything but good about Wessley. He will surely be missed by many
but now he is in Heaven with Jeannette and they and other family members and
many friends are rejoicing in his homecoming. RIP MY SPECIAL FRIEND!

I am so sorry for your loss! Wessley was a great man in all areas of his life. He loved the Lord, his family, and was a friend to all. He will be dearly missed! Wessley is now reaping all the benefits that he so often preached about. A life in Heaven and rejoicing with his Lord. He has left us all many fond memories, now let them and our Lord sustain us through the rest of our time on earth! God Bless You!

He had a way of lifting us up. The Holy Spirit always present when he did his sermons. One of the best men I have ever known. He is directly responsible for my salvation and he baptized me in 1978 at Mayflower Hills. I will never forget him and everything he has meant to so many. He joins many that have gone before him and we will see him again. All my love always.

Cheryl, Keith, Dusty and family,
Wessley married John and I in 1988 at Eagle Rock Baptist Church. We became good friends with he and Jeanette and they attended many functions on Mundy Mountain. Anytime you needed Wessley he would be there no matter the time or day.
We last visited Wessley and Cheryl at Myrtle Beach in November 2017. We shared many memories and meals with Wes on that trip. Our next time to meet him is when we all get to Heaven. Thank you for being our dear friend for so many years.
