Losing your loved one in death is a pain we can never get accustomed to. But Jehovah, "the God of all comfort" lovingly eases that pain by promising to get rid of death. At Isaiah 25:8 he said that "He will swallow up death forever, and the sovereign lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces". Such beautiful and comforting words from our Father Jehovah can help us through the most difficult time of our lives.

Mary, I’m so sorry for your loss. I can’t believe we have reached this point in our lives where we are losing our spouses. I didn’t mean for that to sound like I have lost mine because I haven’t, and I’m very grateful for that. It’s been too many years since I’ve seen you, and I never met Joe, but I know how strong you are so I know you will be fine. Hang in ther. Miss seeing you.

Dear Family,
The death of a loved one is unbearable and causes so much heartache and stress, but the Bible gives us comfort and hope. The Bible says: “The last enemy, death is to be destroyed.”—1 Cor. 15:26.Jehovah God will also “wipe out every tear” from our eyes and “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." (Revelations 21:4). This comforting promise gives hope to those who mourn. It removes the awful feeling of finality that death brings and gives hope of a brighter future where death will be a thing of the past.
Sincerely,
Regina
