Obituary of Janet Neighbors

Janet Neighbors 77 of Roanoke went to be with the Lord on Monday November 26, 2018. Her husband Donald Neighbors and a brother Paul Wickham preceded her.

Mrs. Neighbors attended Community Advent Christian Church for many years. She enjoyed singing and playing older gospel hymns and blue grass with her grandchildren and at family get togethers. A very loving and dear wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be forever missed by all.

Left to cherish her memory are her son David Peters and wife Karen; grandchildren, Wayne and Benjamin Peters; siblings, Sue Huffman, Mae Caudill and husband Alton, Pete Wickham and wife Deborah, and George Wickham and wife Maybelle. Along with many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 10:00am Saturday December 1, 2018 at Simpson Funeral Home with Pastor T. G. Ayers officiating. Interment will follow in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends Friday November 30, 2018 from 2:00-4pm and 6:00-8:00pm at Simpson Funeral Home.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.simpsonfuneral.com.
