Sorry for the late condolences but I just read of the Senior Chief's passing in my Chief magazine. I barely knew him but I recognized his name immediately when I read it as my Coast Guard recruiter in Roanoke. I still think of my enlistment when I pass the federal bldg. in Roanoke where his office was. He must have done or said something good because I chose to stay in the Coast Guard and retired in 2003 as a CWO. Fair Winds Senior Chief and THANK YOU!
