Obituary of Rieves William Seay

Rieves W. “Billy” Seay, Jr.  74, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, April 8, 2018.  He was preceded by his parents, Rieves W. Sr. and Mildred McCormick Seay.

Mr. Seay retired after 40 years of service with the Norfolk Southern Corporation.  He served for eight years in the 29th Division of the Army National Guard and attended Villa Heights Baptist Church.

Surviving are his devoted and loving wife of 53 years, Joyce Wilkerson Seay; son, Chip Seay and wife Ginger; and a much beloved grandson, Jeremy Barlow.

The family offers a very special thank you to Gerald and Cindy Killian and Jeraldeen Wilkerson for their many acts of kindness and compassion.

A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2018 in Evergreen Burial Park by Pastor Jake Huffman.  The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 10 2018 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road.  366-0707
