To the family of Jane Farley Lewis,
By way of introduction, my wife and I used to live in the Roanoke area and I was employed for a time in the 1980's at Friendship Manor. When I first started at Friendship Manor, I was a part-time telephone operator at the Friendship Manor Home for Adults - Lakeview. It was at Lakeview that I met Jane, who was a resident there. Jane was very good to help out the switchboard staff at Lakeview by delivering the mail to the other residents. I remember that she liked to go out and attend travelogues that were held in the Roanoke area. I think that she really enjoyed attending these type of activities. Jane would always get dressed up very nice when going out to attend these activities or to go out with her parents.
Even though it has been many years since I worked at Friendship Manor, I just wanted to let you know that I was sorry to hear of Jane's death. Take care and best wishes to all of you.
