My condolences to Cathie's family. I grew up with Cathie and we attended Hidden Valley Middle School, Cave Spring Junio High, and Cave Spring High School together. We also went to church at Christ Episcopal Church growing up as well. She was a very special person.
Cathie and I were great friends for many years, and we shared quite a few adventures together. She was one of the most generous people I have ever known, and one of the most intelligent. I'll miss the conversations we used to have, and the ones we never got to have. Her spirit lives on.
Cathy and I were neighbors and shared a love for animals, especially cats. She had the kindest, most gentle heart. She will be sadly missed by her friends and neighbors and her many animals friends. My cat often visited her.
