I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Gabe's passing. He certainly was one of a kind. Living in Idaho, I have not have the opportunity to visit over the years but I will always remember his kind heart and crazy sense of humor.
I will never forget the three pairs of white button up sailor pants he gave me when I was in high school in the early 70's. Of course I was a lot thinner then, or maybe Gabe couldn't squeeze into them anymore, who knows. All I know is I wore those all summer as they were quite a hit and all my friends were envious.
Uncle Gabe was truly a wonderful man in so many ways. I know he is in a better place now and will forever be watching out for Aunt Shirley, Carmen and Maria.
May God give you comfort and fill your hearts with nothing but wonderful thoughts.
