I'm saddened to hear that Wayne has departed this mortal plane, but heartened to learn that his was a full and rewarding life. As one of his classmates at Randolph-Macon Academy, we were all brothers in spirit back in the day, and even though we all left to pursue the adventures of our individual lives, forever brothers we'll always remain. Sadly, a member of our collective family has left us, but Wayne has surely found new adventures to pursue on the celestial plane. God speed, my friend... you will be missed.

I had the honor of first meeting Wayne as part of the Randolph-Macon Academy Class of '69, we had many shared life changing experiences at that time. He knew how to really enjoy life and we engaged in many exciting activities together during our misspent youth. I have always remembered his humor, kindness, athletic abilities and popularity. Thanks for the memories Wayne, may you find eternal peace. I salute you! Taps...

Wayne was a friend of mine at R-MA and I remember him well. I last saw him at The Apple House in Linden, Va. one night during an R-MA Homecoming Weekend where we shared a couple of drinks and talked about some of the antics that went on while attending R-MA.
Condolences to family and friends. H e was a good guy and pleasant to be around.

Wayne will always be another brother to me. He and I first met at RMA, waited tables, played football, loved being friends and roommates our sophomore year. We learned many things, above all, we could always depend on each other for good times, bad times and the daily routine that God puts before us. We had each others back and always will. I will always miss his smile and his firm handshake. A good guy that made the world a better place each day. Save me a spot on the bench BROTHER.
LOVE YOU, MAC !

I knew Wayne as a brother first and foremost, but also as a dear friend. Eventhough I have been distanced from the family, Wayne and I kept in touch and shared a good relationship. He recently touched my heart with kind words that showed his true spirit. I always looked up to him as a big brother and it hurts to know I can no longer reach out to him for great advice. I am praying for his family and I know Wayne would not want them to be sad because he is in the presence of the Lord. I am proud to have known Terry Wayne Cundiff and to call him brother.
