St.Clair, Marlene McDaniel St.Clair, 66 of Roanoke passed away Friday, February 3, 2017.
Marlene spent her entire teaching career at Northside High School. After retiring she loved the "lunch bunch" gatherings with other Northside retirees. She also enjoyed being with friends in the South Hills Garden Club where she had served as President.
Surviving are her husband, Gregory St.Clair, parents, A. L. and Helen McDaniel; sister, Cindy Sheffield and her husband David; brother-in-law, Kenneth St.Clair; an aunt who was as "close as a sister", Katie Brumfield; nieces, Kontessa St.Clair, Jennifer Randa, and Amanda Woodham; and many other beloved family members.
Marlene had a kind heart for people and animals, especially cats. In lieu of flowers memorials could be made to Barn Cat Buddies P.O. Box 111 Salem, Va. 24153.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. Interment will be private. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. 366-0707
