Obituary of Betty Frances Setliff Pannell

Betty Frances Setliff Pannell, 70, of Paint Bank died Saturday, January 21, 2017 in Lewis Gale Hospital. She was born December 24, 1946 in Martinsville, VA the daughter of the late Noel William Setliff, Sr. and Ruby Fulcher Setliff. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Barry Setliff. Surviving are her husband of 32 years, best friend and lifelong companion, Kevin; son, Tracy L. Harris (Sharon), brothers, Bobby Setliff (Diane), Benny Setliff (Pam), Brant Setliff (Kathy), brothers-in-law, Paul Pannell (Regarna), Randy Pannell (Jan), Keith Pannell (Kim) and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and her best friend/sister, Betty Jo Turner. Betty enjoyed life, reading, doing things with Kev, her dogs, Bailey, Maddie, and Cat Ziggy and was one of the best cooks ever. She was the most courageous and strong woman you would ever meet, dealing with all of the health issues she endured and always having a positive attitude. Her kindness and smile will be missed by many. A gathering of friends will be held at the home in the spring of the year. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the ASPCA.
