Lisa K. Muterspaugh, 52, of Salem went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, May 3, 2015. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley C. Muterspaugh. Lisa was a former bus driver for Roanoke County Schools, and had also been employed by the Richfield Retirement Center.Surviving are her two heartbeats (children), Matthew and Rachel Muterspaugh; father, George Muterspaugh, Sr. and friend Barbara Fielder; siblings, Sherry Gentry and husband Jerry, Jerry Muterspaugh and wife Becky, Timmy Muterspaugh and wife Tonya, Mark Muterspaugh and wife Sue, Debbie Lowery and husband Charlie, George Muterspaugh, Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.The family would like to offer a special thanks to the nursing staff on the 8th floor ICU at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for their many acts of kindness and compassion.Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by Pastors Ken Nienke, Kevin Wilson and Rick Jacobs. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at Simpson Funeral Home. 366-0707
