Obituary of Chester Leroy Hall

Chester Leroy Hall 88 of Roanoke passed away Sunday April 5, 2015.
Mr. Hall served proudly in the United States Navy, during World War II. Entering the Navy on September 3, 1943. He retired from Blue Ridge Transfer in 1990 after 30 years of service. In addition, was an Evangelist and an Elder serving in the Church of Christ.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife of 68 years, Odell Hall;
three children, Terry Hall and wife Carolyn, Sheila Mabry and husband Terry, Camilla Gladden and husband Joe, all of Salem; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren.
The family would like to give thanks to the Doctors and Nurses on 7th floor West at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
A funeral service will be held 3:00pm Thursday April 9, 2015 at Simpson Funeral Home with Pastors Marvin Williams and Lawrence Warden officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 1:30pm until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
