Paul M. Brown, 61, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015. Paul was the greatest father, closest friend, beloved son, free spirit, and a fighter to the very end, as well as an overall wonderful man. Paul was preceded in death by his father John L. Brown. Surviving are his mother, Shirley J. Brown; brothers, Kenneth A. Brown and wife Rebecca, and Eric P. Brown and wife Connie; sister Delores B. Campbell and husband Terry; three loving daughters, Valerie Orange and husband Jason, Violet Loomis and husband Terry, Heather Brown; grandchildren Jacob and Dillion; step-granddaughter Lexie; dearest friend Samuel (Dean) Franklin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and countless friends; as well as 2 beloved dogs Gizmo and Buddy. The family will be accepting friends and family at Paul’s home from 1-7 with certain exceptions on Saturday, January 31, 2015. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. (540)366-0707.
