Virginia H. Tate, 94, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 25, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerdy Tate; a sister, Mabel Perdue and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.Surviving are her daughter, Betty King; granddaughter, Cindy Eppling and husband, William; grandson, Preston King; great granddaughter, Candi Calvac and husband, Alfredo; great great granddaughters, Esperanza and Alaina Clavac; brother-in-law, Marvin (Jim) Tate and wife, Barbara; and several nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Carilion Hospice Services 1917 Franklin Road Roanoke, Va. 24014.A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m Wednesday, January 28, 2015 in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
