Victoria Lynn Martin 56, of Salem passed away suddenly on April 8, 2012. Lynn was born March 7, 1956 to the late Loretta Kennedy and Hugh Kanode. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, Doug Kennedy and her best friend Sapphire.
Surviving are her husband, Colin Martin; son, Clay Burton; grandson, Caiden Burton; half brother, Robert Kanode; step-mother, Nancy Kanode; step sister, Sherry Fuller; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ross and Pat Martin; mom #2, Lottie Burkes; best friend, Ann Banks and her "baby Abbi' who she loved very much.
Lynn's wishes were in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
A memorial service celebrating Lynn's life will be held 6:00pm, Thursday, April 12, 2012 in the Simpson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Elwood Nunley officiating. Friend may send their condolences at www.simpsonfuneral.com. Arrangements handled by Simpson Funeral Home and Crematory, 540-366-0707.
