Norris C. Hamilton, 79, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord, Friday, December 12, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Ethel Hamilton, and his wife Bee Hamilton. Surviving are his sons Scott B. Hamilton & wife Shaun, and Neil A. Hamilton & wife Molly; grandchildren, Zachary, Sarah, Nathan, Ava, Andrew, and Carolyn; Brother, Marvin Hamilton & wife Mary; Sister, Betty H. Thompson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted, 2 p.m. Monday, December 15, 2014 , at Melrose Baptist Church by Rev. Larry E. Sprouse. Interment will follow services in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 on Sunday, December 14, 2014, at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road. Arrangments by Simpson Funeral Home. (540)366-0707.
