Obituary of Thomas Lee Smith

Thomas Lee Smith 68 of Roanoke passed away Tuesday December 2, 2014. He was preceded by his father, Henry Smith, Sr., mother, Mary Smith, a sister, Pearl Smith Weeks and a brother, Henry Smith, Jr. Mr. Smith is a proud United States Army Veteran serving 13 years and 2 tours in the Vietnam War 1967-1968 and 1971-1980. Surviving are his children, Thomas Smith, Jr. of Ocean View, California, Elizabeth Anderson and husband Pat of Wichita, Kansas, Jon Gagne and wife Sharon of Barrington, New Hampshire, Christopher Smith and wife Janice of Clifton Forge, Virginia, Tabatha Small and husband Sid of Iron Gate, Virginia, Jamie Hicks and wife Lynda of Clifton Forge, Virginia; brothers, Richard Smith and wife Barbara of Richmond, Virginia, Andrew Smith of Vinton, Virginia; twelve grandchildren; four step grandchildren; nine great grandchildren. We would like to thank the staff at the Veterans Hospital, Building 2, floor 3 on the Palliative Care Ward for all the care they have given Thomas for the last 3 years.
