I am so sorry I can't be with you during this time. I love all of you and will truly miss my favorite uncle. I am just happy I got to spend time with him last year before he got sick again. I will always remember and treasure that day. Our prayers for each of you during this difficult day. We love you

Betty, Rose and all family members..Our thoughts and prayers are with you..Jim was a really nice guy, he and Buddy had some fun times together, "Rollin" in the big trucks. He shared some really pretty guppies with me, he truly was a nature lover, can't forget the rats he raised! He's at peace now.

Like you, I mourn the loss of a great man, a man who I consider myself lucky to have known. He could fix anything and he had a rare vision. Under his skillful hand, lawnmowers that had been abandoned as junk would find new life and he would give a reborn mower to anyone in need. With his vision, a clothes dryer that would never dry again would become a luxury condo for a lucky dog. When I would sit on his porch for a fat chewing session with him, it was rare that I did not come away having learned something and I always felt better than I felt before I talked with him. I am a better person for having known him. While I will miss him, he will continue to live in my memory and my heart, and I know that it will be the same with his family and anyone who knew him.
