Hugo W. Foshag, 86, of Roanoke passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugo R. and Gertrude Wiedlt Foshag, brothers, Richard C. and Harold Foshag, son, Larry Lee Foshag; and wife Mildred Chislet Foshag. Surviving are his granddaughter, Amanda Leigh Foshag of Charlotte, NC; daughter in law, Linshaw Foshag of Roanoke. The family offers a special thank you to the Rev. E. E. "Dick" Jones, Roy and Pauline Naff, the staff at the Joseph C. Thomas Center and the staff at Richfield Nursing Home for their many acts of kindness and compassion. during Mr. Foshag's illness. A memorial service will be held this summer at Mr. Foshag's farm in New York. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory. 366-0707.
