Betty Lou Blankenship, 73, of Salem passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbert S. and Vilma Hale Blankenship and a brother, Steve Blankenship. Mrs. Blankenship retired from Levy Home Entertainment of Salem, Virginia. She is survived by family members and friends. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, June 8, 2011 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. Arrangements by
