Frances (Fran) A. Holt 66 of Roanoke, her pain was ended and met her savior on Friday May 13, 2011. She was preceded by her parents, Dan & Betty Holt. Fran was always quick with a smile, ready to help others in all situations, kind hearted, and caring to a fault. She was well know by the staff of Lewis Gale Hospital and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Left to cherish her memory is her life partner, Jimmie "Jim" Allman; uncle and his wife, Lacy and Gene Altizer; numerous cousins and kin far and wide. Fran chose cremation as her final wish which will be handled by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory. Friends are welcome at the home anytime. Arrangements handled by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory, 366-0707.
