Obituary of Vera Peterson

Vera Mae Peterson 93 of Lafayette passed away May 12, 2011 at Lewis Gale Hospital. Vera was born July 20, 1917 to the late Charles L. and Nellie G. Peterson. And was preceded by her two sisters and a brother-in-law, Edythe Peterson and Louise and Richard Rice; brother, Charles L. Peterson, Jr. and a beloved niece, Cathy Wimmer. Surviving are her sister, Dell Wimmer and her husband Jack from Elliston area; a host of nieces, nephews and her special family at Richfield Retirement where she was a resident and volunteer for many years. A memorial service celebrating Vera's life will be held at the Richfield Chapel at a later date with Chaplain Thomas Clay officiating.
