Obituary of Robin Poff

Robin L. Poff 61 of Goodview found peace with the Lord on Sunday, April 17, 2011. He was preceded by his parents, Marvin and Dorothy Poff; sister, Lynn Maxey, brother, Mike Poff and his father-in-law Roy B. Richardson who Robin considered one of his best friends. Robin was an employee of Altec Industries and previously by Norfolk Southern. Robin was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was an avid Sportsman and craftsman. Surviving are his loving and devoted wife and best friend, Doris Poff; daughters, Laurie Earls, Jennifer Edmondson, Michelle Alls, Sonya Zaronsky, Kim Grubb; 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and another due in August; sisters, Carol Short, Dreama Ciafardini, Debi Overstreet and husband Sam; brother, Kevin Poff and wife Frances; host of other relatives and his furry little friends. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Angels of Assisi, 415 Campbell Ave, SW., Roanoke, VA 24016, www.angelsofassisi.org/info/donate in his name. Friends may visit with the family Tuesday, April 19, 2011 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8pm at Simpson Funeral Home.
