Evelyn Mae Crawford Sprinkle Riffe, 77, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, April 17, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, C. Earl and Myrtle Brickey Crawford, husbands, Bill Spinkle, and John Riffe, son, Ricky Sprinkle, infant daughter, Dixie Sprinkle, sister, Phyllis Reed, brothers, Eddie, Carl, Melvin, David, and Berkley Crawford. Surviving are her daughter, Vicky Snead and husband James of Roanoke; Grandchildren, Chris Jernigan, Russell Hunley, and Ronnie Richardson; great grandchldren, Jacob and Adrianna Jernigan; step daughter, Barbara Ann Wiggington and husband James of Collinsville; brothers, Randall Crawford and wife Kathy of Troutville; sisters, Darlene Wood of Roanoke; Wanda Anderson and husband Bobby of Troutville; Pat Reynolds and husband Michael, of Vinton; sisters-in-law including, Lorene Crawford and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by the Rev. Chris Kingery. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Simpson Funeral Home. 366-0707
