Barbara Price, 85, of Roanoke, passed away Friday, March 2, 2012. She was preceded by her husband, John E. Price and her daughter, Liz Price. Mrs. Price and her husband, John were married for 51 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran working for the Department of Defense and together traveled the world through his career.
She loved her bridge partners at Oak Grove and Pheasant Ridge.
Mrs. Price was a great mom, and will be dearly missed and a dear friend to all, here in Roanoke and New Bern, N.C. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Dave Petrie, of Roanoke; long time friends, Bob and Jenny Mullin, of Roanoke; along with many close friends in New Bern, N.C. and Roanoke, too many to mention.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Blue Ridge Independent Living Center, 1502B Williamson Road, Roanoke, Va. 24012, in her name.
