Allan Raymond Hetz, 84, of Roanoke, died Friday, March 25, 2011. Survived by his wife, Florence Hetz, Daughter, Amy Wilson, and son, Andrew Hetz. Thank you for being a wonderful, husband, Father, optometrist, and person. We are indebted to your devotion to your family and service to your country in the pacific during World War II. Goodness does not consist in greatness, but greatness in goodness. You were a great man. A memorial service will be conducted at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory. 5160 Peters Creek Road. 540-366-0707.
