Clarence J. (CJ) Lynch, 82, owner of C.C. Williams Memorial Park in Roanoke, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, March 3, 2011. He was born July 30, 2011 in Bedford County a son of the late Willie and Virginia Hodge Lynch. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda King; sister, Martha Lynch; and brothers, Bill and Ed Lynch. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Barbara Williams Lynch; brother, Roy Lynch and wife Barbara, of North Dayton, Ohio; sons, Kenneth Lynch and wife Debby, and Jay Lynch and Jeanette all of Roanoke; stepdaughters, Sandra Bush Maloney and husband Pat of Virginia Beach; and JoAnn Bush Hopkins and husband Frank of Roanoke; and son-in-law, John King of Roanoke. In lieu of flowers the famiy requests that memorials be made to the SPCA 1340 Baldwin Avenue, NE Roanoke, Va. 24012. A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. The family will receive friends following the service.
